FEELM joins Carbon Disclosure Project as part of SMOORE’s drive to tackle Climate Emergency

CDP is an independent not-for-profit organization that manages a global disclosure system and repository for environmental reporting by corporations, municipalities, and organizations around the world; and FEELM will measure, manage, and periodically disclose its environmental impact data to CDP through SMOORE, as part of the global effort to mitigate climate change.

 

In 2021, more than 680 financial institutions, amounting to over 130 trillion USD in assets, supported CDP’s request for data sharing, while over 13,000 companies, accounting for 64% of the world’s market capital, disclosed through CDP’s database; a renowned scoring system and benchmark tool for stakeholders to assess businesses’ sustainable actions, environmental impact data, transparency and credibility.

 

In May 2022, FEELM announced its commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, with a strategic executive plan that includes: introducing zero-carbon vape technology solutions, adopting eco-friendly materials and green packaging, supporting the global supply chain in de-carbonization, and activating the recycling program of vape pod cartridges and devices with clients.

 

The action of joining CDP is a crucial step along FEELM’s pathway to achieving net-zero, and allows investors and other stakeholders to evaluate and scrutinize business activities.

The development of the new branding process took about one year, according to Thalia; it involved massive surveys and focus groups, data analysis, creative and design work.

“Vaping is not just a fad, it’s a culture, a lifestyle that you choose to live, an attitude that you use to interact with the world. In our new logo we hope to capture the spirit of vapers and vaping culture, to express our passion and commitment in serving the vaping community,” said Thalia.

Founded in 2015, VAPORESSO has become a major innovator in the vaping industry. The company has gained fans from more than 60 countries with its popular vape kits.

When speaking of the company’s journey, Jimmy Hu, Vice President of VAPORESSO said: “Our chairman and CEO Simon Lai was a smoker for 11 years, before turned to vaping. When we started VAPORESSO, we had a big dream to make switching to vaping as easy as possible for everyone.”.

SMOORE Reports 2021 Annual Revenue of RMB13.75 billion

April 7, 2022, Shenzhen, China—SMOORE, a global leader in offering vaping technology solutions, has announced its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2021.

 

SMOORE reported 2021 annual revenue of RMB13.75 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 37.4%.

 

The company also pledged to achieve carbon neutrality in its direct and indirect production and operational activities by 2050, being the first atomization tech company to announce a roadmap to carbon neutrality.

 

In 2021, the global regulations on the electronic atomization industry have become more stringent, and many countries set higher safety standards for electronic atomization products while SMOORE has still maintained its position as the world’s largest manufacturer of vaping devices. According to Frost and Sullivan report, the company’s market share in the global vaping devices manufacturing field has increased to approximately 22.8% in 2021 from approximately 18.9% in 2020.

 

With its technological advantages in atomization, SMOORE has continued to empower its global corporate clients. The revenue of corporate client oriented sales firstly exceeded RMB10 billion and reached RMB12.59 billion, representing a strong growth of 37.4% year-on-year, with overseas revenue accounting for over 70% of its corporate client oriented sales. At SMOORE 2021 Annual Performance Conference, Qiu Lingyun, Vice President of SMOORE said that the U.S and China have successively implemented flavor ban on e-cigarettes, and SMOORE has already prepared technical solutions for tobacco flavors in accordance with the U.S regulations for about a year, prior to the exposure draft of Chinese national standards of e-cigarettes coming into force. March 11, 2022, Shenzhen, China—SMOORE, a global leader in offering vaping technology solutions, today announced an industry-leading risk assessment laboratory for the European Union Tobacco Product Directive (EUTPD) compliance. Thus, SMOORE has become China’s first company capable of providing vaping products with one-stop TPD risk assessment service. Belonging to SMOORE fundamental research center, the laboratory will be a hub to empower more vaping brands to comply with the safety standards of EUTPD, thereby meeting the EU vaping market entry requirements.
 
This laboratory has begun operation in the first half of 2021, and already completed 52 product tests for several world-leading vape brands. As China’s first corporate TPD-compliant risk assessment laboratory, it can generate test reports within 5 working days.
