What organization is APVI? The complete legalization of the Indonesian e-cigarette market is inseparable from it!

The Indonesian tobacco industry has a history of more than 100 years. According to the 2017 survey, there are more than 75 million active tobacco consumers in Indonesia. For e-cigarettes, this is a big market. Until 2018, the Indonesian e-cigarette consumer market accounted for only 1-1.5% of Indonesian smokers.

Jakarta is a city of smokers, but its vape bars are under threat of government crackdown

On July 1, 2018, the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia issued the 66th, 67th and 68th regulations, proclaiming July 18th as the National E-cigarette Day, announcing that e-cigarettes belong to tobacco processing products, which is the first step in the legalization of e-cigarettes in Indonesia and also an important step in the development of global e-cigarettes.

In fact, the Indonesian e-cigarette market can be completely legalized, and it is inseparable from the powerful organization of APVI. Since its inception in 2013, APVI has been committed to promoting the legalization of e-cigarettes in Indonesia.

APVI, Chinese meaning Indonesian personal e-cigarette organization, is an organization composed of employees of all types of enterprises in the Indonesian e-cigarette industry, including e-liquid producers, distributors, traders, retailers and even other channels such as heating wire, e-cigarette media, or practitioners around the culture. APVI also has close links with other e-cigarette organizations in Indonesia. Until 2018, APVI has more than 1,500 e-cigarette entrepreneurs and more than 100 e-cigarette organizations, and this number is constantly growing.

Currently, Edy Suprijadi is the Secretary General of the Indonesian Personal E-cigarette Organization. It is understood that Edy Suprijadi will visit the Shenzhen E-cigarette International Exhibition on October 1, 2018 and deliver a keynote speech entitled Market Environment Analysis after the legalization of e-cigarettes in Indonesia.
