Russian satellite communications agency Yekaterinburg reported on July 9 that Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ye said that they will not legislate separately to manage the vape market, but it will be regulated by the existing so-called Anti-tobacco Law.
In his participation in the 2018 International Innovation Industry Exhibition, Mr. Ye said, “According to the decision made, the e-cigarette market will be regulated by the “Anti-tobacco Law”. However, the law will separately list the terms and regulations for vape field.”

At the end of January, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade submitted a number of draft laws on the management of vape market. In June, a spokesman for Russian Deputy Prime Minister Kozak said that the proposal to separately manage the field of vapes failed to receive the support of the Deputy Prime Minister.
