Philip Morris International applied to the Ministry of finance of Japan to increase the price of 21 exclusive products of heated non combustible cigarette “iqos”. If the Ministry of finance gives permission, it will decide to raise the price (even in past cases, it may have been allowed).
Compared with other companies, iqos products already have a good impression, but this further increases the price. It will be implemented from October 2020! If the application is successful, the selling price of Marlboro iqos will be raised from 520 to 550 yen.
