KT&G Headquarters Donates 5 Million KRW to Support Visually Impaired People

KT&G South Korea’s headquarters in Jeollanam-do has made a generous donation of 5 million Korean won to a welfare institution through its own charity organization called the “Imagination Fund”. This funding is specifically aimed at supporting individuals who are visually impaired.

The “Imagination Fund” is a unique social welfare initiative that KT&G started in 2011. It involves voluntary monthly contributions from the company’s employees, which are then matched by the company itself. This allows them to better serve the community and provide assistance to neighbors in need.

In addition to this donation, KT&G’s Jeollanam-do headquarters is actively involved in various charitable initiatives. These include providing scholarships for talent development, improving living conditions for disadvantaged groups, offering heating fuel support, and sharing kimchi during the year-end season.
