IBVTA Partners With WorldNet Payments Following Issues With PayPal

Share

In the UK, vaping products are widely endorsed as smoking cessation and harm reduction tools. However, with regards to the covid-related lockdowns, vape shops have been deemed “non-essential” and the industry has had to adapt and transfer its business online.

In a release issued last January, the IBVTA said that some businesses had been experiencing issues with PayPal and explained some of the steps businesses could take to counteract this. The association had reassured its members that it was working to establish dialogue with the payment platform, to discuss their approach and the implications of their actions.

Meanwhile, the IBVTA was also working to establish partnerships with alternative providers. To this effect, it is now announcing a further partnership with WorldNet Payments. “WorldNet are a key online payment provider working with vape companies throughout Ireland and the UK, who offer competitive rates, fast set up and excellent customer service from day one,” said the IBVTA in a recent release.

For online payments, WorldNet’s fully customizable payment page allows businesses to build a comfortable payments environment for your customers and creates a seamless payment journey through your website.

Business Development Manager of WorldNet Robbie Hughes, confirmed the partnership. ”Over the past 12 months we have seen a dramatic change in online processing for vape companies which unfortunately with some providers has resulted in abandoned shopping carts, or accounts being frozen or closed without any notice. Worldnet have partnered with the IBVTA as we firmly believe with their support and guidance, you are investing in an association which truly cares about your vaping business, particularly through these dark times.”
