VAPORESSO LUXE X3 Review: The 2600mAh Pod That Finally Feels Relaxed

Share

I like pod systems that remove small worries from the day.

Not every device needs to feel dramatic. Sometimes the real upgrade is simpler: you leave the house, use it through work, check the screen a few times, refill from the top, and realize you are not thinking about battery life every two hours.

That is where the VAPORESSO LUXE X3 surprised me. It is the new 45W device in the LUXE X series, built for both MTL and RDL users, and the headline is very clear: a 2600mAh battery in a compact pod body.

On paper, VAPORESSO calls it the longest-lasting 45W pod in its class. In daily use, the feeling is even easier to understand.

You stop babysitting it.

The Battery Is the Main Character 🔋

The LUXE X3 carries a 2600mAh battery, which is huge for a 45W pod device. What impressed me is that VAPORESSO did not make it feel like a brick just to win a spec-sheet battle. The device still feels compact enough for daily carry, and that balance matters more than the number alone.

There are plenty of pod systems that promise long battery life but become awkward in the pocket. The LUXE X3 avoids that problem. It feels like a serious device, yes, but not a burden. That makes it much easier to treat as a real all-day pod instead of a desk-only backup.

During my testing, the biggest difference was psychological. I was not constantly planning my next charge. With 5V/2A Type-C charging, even when the battery eventually drops, it does not feel like a big interruption. Plug it in while answering messages or making coffee, and it quickly becomes usable again.

That is the kind of quality-of-life upgrade I appreciate most. Not flashy. Just practical.

Dual Mesh Makes the Flavor Feel Fuller 🌬️

The new LUXE X3 kit includes upgraded LUXE X Dual Mesh pods, with 0.6-ohm pre-installed and 0.4-ohm in the box for the global version. The idea is simple: more heating surface, better e-liquid vaporization, richer flavor, and longer coil life.

VAPORESSO says the Dual Mesh design improves flavor fidelity by 25% and doubles coil lifespan. Those are bold numbers, so I care less about the marketing line and more about the actual feeling in use.

The actual feeling is smooth and full.

The 0.6-ohm pod is the more relaxed option for people who want a tighter RDL or looser MTL style. It gives good flavor without feeling too warm or aggressive. The 0.4-ohm pod opens things up. More vapor, more warmth, more body, and a better match if you like a richer restricted direct lung experience.

What I like is that both pods still feel like they belong to the same device. One is not clearly “the good one” while the other feels like a compromise. They simply lean in different directions, which makes the LUXE X3 more flexible than a single-purpose pod.

MTL, RDL, and That Useful Middle Ground 🎛️

The LUXE X3 is suitable for both MTL and RDL users, and this is probably the most important part of its personality. It is not trying to be a tiny cloud machine only. It is also not a strict cigarette-style MTL pod. It lives in the middle and gives you room to adjust.

The airflow control is precise enough to matter. Close it down and the draw becomes more focused, with better throat feel and a more controlled mouth-to-lung rhythm. Open it up with the 0.4-ohm pod and the device becomes much more airy and lively.

That flexibility makes the LUXE X3 a good choice for users who do not want to be locked into one style. Some days I want a tighter, cleaner draw. Other times I want more vapor and a warmer pull. The X3 handles both without making the process feel complicated.

And let’s be frank, that is often where pod systems fail. They advertise “versatility,” but the adjustment feels tiny in real life. Here, the difference is noticeable.

The Screen Is Small, but It Helps ✅

The 0.8-inch digital display is another feature that sounds simple until you live with it. It shows battery level, precise wattage, and the RGB light status clearly enough that you are never guessing what the device is doing.

I do not need every pod to become a smartwatch. But I do like knowing my wattage exactly, especially on a device that supports different pod resistances. Tiny LED indicators are fine for ultra-simple pods, but once a device reaches this power range, a real display feels more honest.

The one-button lock is also welcome. Any device that goes into a pocket should have a clean way to avoid accidental firing or random setting changes. Again, not glamorous. Very useful.

Top Fill Is the Feature I Do Not Want to Lose 💧

The new top-fill design makes the LUXE X3 easier to use day after day. I have tested enough bottom-fill pods to know they are not always terrible, but once you get used to a cleaner top-fill system, going back feels annoying.

The 5ml pod capacity is another practical advantage for the global version. A bigger pod and a bigger battery match each other well. If the device is meant to last longer between charges, it also needs enough e-liquid capacity to support that kind of routine.

Of course, TPD markets will have a 2ml version, so the experience will vary depending on region. But as a design direction, the LUXE X3 clearly understands what daily users want: fewer interruptions, cleaner refills, and less fiddling.

What I Would Improve 📝

The LUXE X3 is still a compact device, but with a 2600mAh battery and 100g weight, it is not the lightest pod in your pocket. I personally think the tradeoff is worth it, because battery life is the whole point here. But if you want the thinnest, almost-forget-it-exists pod, this may feel more substantial than you expect.

The other thing is that the full experience depends on choosing the right pod and airflow setting. That is good for experienced users, but absolute beginners may need a little trial and error. The 0.6-ohm pod is the easier starting point. The 0.4-ohm pod is better when you want more output and warmth.

Neither point is a dealbreaker. They are just the honest parts of living with a more capable pod system.

Verdict: A Long-Life Pod That Still Feels Easy 🔥

The VAPORESSO LUXE X3 feels like a very sensible upgrade to the LUXE X series. The 2600mAh battery is the main reason to pay attention, but it is not the only reason the device works. The Dual Mesh pods give the flavor more body, the airflow range makes it useful for both MTL and RDL users, the screen makes operation clearer, and the top-fill design keeps the daily routine clean.

It does not reinvent the wheel, but it executes where it matters.

If you want a tiny minimalist pod, this may be more device than you need. But if you want a compact 45W pod that can survive longer days, deliver fuller flavor, and give you real control without becoming complicated, the LUXE X3 makes a strong case for itself.

For me, the best part is simple: I keep reaching for it without thinking.

And that usually says more than the spec sheet.
