I usually don’t rush to write reviews unless a flavor line genuinely surprises me—but YTOO’s 2026 opening flavors did exactly that. Over the past few days, I tested five out of the six flavors in this lineup (everything except Grape Soda) using a Vaporesso XROS 5 Nano in normal mode, and the experience was consistently smooth, satisfying, and surprisingly immersive.
If I had to pick a standout—and honestly, one that I keep reaching for without thinking—it’s Vanilla Cream Ice Cream.
Vanilla Cream Ice Cream: The One I Didn’t Expect to Love This Much
From the very first puff, this flavor felt iced, vivid, and realistic in a way dessert vapes rarely achieve. It genuinely reminds me of eating ice cream on a hot summer afternoon—cool on the inhale, creamy through the body, and clean on the exhale. The vanilla isn’t flat or artificial; it’s layered and soft, with a light icy edge that makes it refreshing rather than heavy.
There was a small moment that sold it for me: I was vaping it outside after lunch, the weather warm, and that cool, creamy note just clicked. It didn’t overpower my palate, didn’t get tiring, and didn’t leave a sticky sweetness afterward. It’s the kind of flavor you don’t “analyze”—you just enjoy it.
Other Flavors: Smooth, Balanced, and Easy to Enjoy
I also tried Watermelon Lemon, Vanilla Custard Cake, Dragon Fruit Mulberry Lemon, and Upgraded Pineapple, and every one of them shared a common trait: smooth delivery. No harshness, no strange aftertaste, and no sudden flavor drop-off halfway through the pod.
- Watermelon Lemon felt bright and refreshing, especially good when I wanted something lighter.
- Vanilla Custard Cake was richer and more dessert-forward, but still smooth enough for extended use.
- Dragon Fruit Mulberry Lemon had a layered, slightly playful profile that kept each puff interesting.
- Upgraded Pineapple leaned mature and refined—less candy, more real fruit tone.
I didn’t experience coil burn, dryness, or flavor distortion while using the XROS 5 Nano in normal mode, which tells me these flavors are well-balanced and device-friendly.
Small Downsides (That Honestly Didn’t Matter Much)
If I’m being very picky, a couple of flavors felt a bit “safe” rather than bold, and I sometimes wished one or two had a slightly stronger top note. But that’s more personal preference than a real flaw. The upside is that none of them became overwhelming or unpleasant over time.
Overall Verdict
This lineup feels thoughtfully made, not rushed. The flavors are consistent, smooth, and genuinely satisfying, with Vanilla Cream Ice Cream standing out as a personal favorite that I’d happily use all day.
On the Vaporesso XROS 5 Nano, the experience was clean, stable, and enjoyable from start to finish. If this is how YTOO is kicking off 2026, it’s a strong—and delicious—start.
