The export value of e-cigarettes from China to the UAE amounted to approximately 13.34 million US dollars. Although there was a month-on-month decrease of 11.00%, there was an impressive year-on-year growth of 27.67%.
In terms of export volume, approximately 301 tons of e-cigarettes were shipped from China to the UAE in October 2023. This represented a decrease of 15.50% compared to the previous period. However, there was a significant year-on-year increase of 47.00%.
The export unit price for e-cigarettes was $44.30 per kilogram. This marked a month-on-month increase of 5.33%. However, there was a year-on-year decrease of 13.15%. The average price of “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers” was $5.16 per unit.
Analyzing the product category, “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers” accounted for 20.62% of the exports, whereas “non-combustible products containing nicotine, excluding tobacco or reconstituted tobacco” made up the remaining 79.38%.
The data indicates promising growth in the e-cigarette export industry from China to the UAE. Despite a slight decrease in export volume and value on a monthly basis, there was a significant increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
