A compact kit with a long battery life which lacks flavour
The Drag E60 is compact and perfectly made. Its built-in 2550 mAh battery offers a comfortable battery life, especially if it’s used with the PNP TW30 coil. The box’s connector is proprietary. The PnP Pod II clearomizer has a comfortable capacity of 4.5ml and can be fitted with all the Voopoo PnP coils. It is easy to use, making it the ideal ally for first-time vapers. The only fly in the ointment is its cruel lack of flavour.

User guide
2550 mAh up its sleeve
Available in six different colours, the box is made of zinc alloy, aluminium and leather. The upper part is fitted with the clearomizer. A metal ring holds the clearomizer in place thanks to three powerful magnets under the tank. The connector is proprietary. Two spring-mounted pins carry the electric current.
There are two openings under the clearomizer on opposite sides for the air intake. You turn the tank to adjust the airflow. This adjustment is very versatile and enables you to go from a very restrictive vape to a very airy one.
The fire button is located on the front of the box. It is embellished by a discreet silver border, and its slightly concave shape makes it particularly comfortable to use. It makes a dull click, a sign of quality. The colour screen is a TFT. It is easy to read even in direct sunlight. Unfortunately you can’t adjust the contrast. The two settings buttons are placed under the screen. A USB-C port finishes off the front of the box. It is used to charge the built-in battery (5 V 2 A maximum). The overall look is harmonious.
The back of the box is covered in leather. It is particularly meticulously fitted and the stitching is flawless. Metal inserts spelling out the name of the kit are the perfect finishing touch for the design of the box. There are no degassing holes on the box.
The Gen TT 2.0 chipset
The box is switched on by pressing the fire button five times. Pressing simultaneously on the fire button and the “+” button locks the device without switching it off completely. The screen display is clear and easy to read. It displays all key information at a glance: battery level, vape mode, power level, coil value, tension delivered and even a puff counter. To make it as easy to use as possible, Voopoo has gone for simplicity with its features. There are three modes of use.
Pressing the “+” and “-” buttons gives you access to the menus. You can then browse through the sub-menus using the “+” and “-” button and validate your choice using the fire button.
The mode option lets you choose between three different types of vaping:
Smart: the chipset automatically selects the best power level for the coil installed. However, you can still modify it to suit your personal taste.
RBA: leaves it up to the user to define the power they want.
ECO: reduces screen brightness to save battery.
When the battery level falls below 40%, the box suggests that you switch to ECO mode, whatever mode you use.
The PUFF RESET option resets the puff counter to zero.
The ABOUT DEVICE option displays information about the chipset version.
The chipset is simple, enjoyable and very reactive to use. The ECO mode is a great idea and very effective. It means you can save precious mAh between charging.
The PnP POD II clearomizer
Voopoo’s new tank is made entirely of plastic and holds 4.5ml. It is held onto the box by three powerful magnets. The clearomizer is filled by the top. Simply remove the mouthpiece by turning it through 90 degrees. Once you’ve taken it off, you’ll see the two filling holes. Their small size means it’s impossible to use an e-liquid bottle with a wide tip. A wide rubber membrane ensures it is perfectly leakproof.
To fit the coil, just push it into its housing. It is perfectly tight – there were no leaks or seepage.
The kit comes with two coils. The PnP-TW 30 can be used between 28 and 36W and the PnP-TW 20 has a usage range of 40 to 55W. All the coils in the PnP range can also be used in the PnP POD II apart from the PnP-TW 15, as its usage range is greater than the maximum power of the box.
Whichever coil you use, the flavours delivered when you vape don’t match up to the level of finish of the box. The vapour lacks density. The flavours lack relief and are bland. With its 2550 mAh battery life, the PnP-TW30 coil offers long hours of vaping without having to charge the battery. This time is obviously shorter with the PnP-TW 20, even in ECO mode.
Like its older brother, the Drag H80 S, the Drag E60 kit is well made, but poor coil performance inside the pod tank lets it down overall. It’s a shame!
