The short-term demand of e-cigarette battery is increasing rapidly in the near future

Share

Recently, the demand for electronic cigarette batteries is booming, and the phenomenon of shortage and short supply has appeared again. However, this shortage is very different from before. It was caused by the rapid growth of the market. This time, it is related to American policy.

According to a decision of the U.S. District Court, the deadline for submitting PMTA to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advanced to May 12. 2020.

After submitting the application, the applicant can continue to sell the product for one year or until the product is approved or rejected. Products that do not meet these requirements may be subject to enforcement.

As the largest export market of domestic e-cigarette enterprises, after the order of the federal court came out, if the enterprises want to stay in the U.S. market, the way out is to apply for PMTA as soon as possible.

With the approaching of the deadline, a large number of e-cigarette batteries have been demanded by e-cigarette manufacturers since.

A number of e-cigarette manufacturers said that e-cigarette batteries are in short supply; they are looking for batteries everywhere. Before that, there were not a large number of battery orders in stock, and now they have to be booked in advance.

In order to meet the urgent needs of customers, we are trying to expand the production capacity.

For e-cigarette manufacturers exporting to the United States, increasing orders is a good thing, but we should also be cautious and pay attention to payment security.

As for the U.S. epidemic, as of April 3. the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the United States reached 242182. with 5850 deaths. The rapid change of epidemic situation undoubtedly increases the instability of e-cigarette export, and the export risk rises sharply.

Since mid March, European and American customers in other industries have successively cancelled orders. With the spread of the epidemic in the United States, some customers may choose to abandon, reject or temporarily decide to postpone shipment in order to avoid losses, which has a great impact on factories and foreign trade companies.

For the enterprises exported to the United States and Europe, in order to prevent the possible risks of emergency, it is suggested that the export enterprises sort out the stock risks under the influence of epidemic situation, pay close attention to the cargo transportation situation of the shipped goods, consult and communicate with the freight forwarder and shipping company in a timely manner, and carry out the loss reduction work in response to the possible customs ban.

For the goods that have not yet been shipped, timely and effective communication shall be conducted with customers, shipment time shall be reasonably arranged, and under the condition of close attention to epidemic prevention and control, the collection and tracking of customers’ payables shall be strengthened to avoid or reduce the uncertain impact caused by the epidemic as far as possible.
