New Zealand e-cigarette Supplier proposes to write health warnings in English and Maori

Recently, e-cigarette suppliers in Taranaki District of New Zealand have taken the lead in proposing to put health warning labels written in “tireo Maori” (the language of Maori in New Zealand) on their products.

If the government’s proposal is approved, all nicotine containing e-cigarette products in New Zealand will be required to have health warning labels written in English and tireo Maori. The picture shows retailers in Taranaki displaying products with warning labels.
